Kogi Governor, First Lady Urge Love, Peace, Unity at Christmas

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, has urged residents to embrace love, peace, unity, and compassion this Christmas, describing the festive season as a joyous occasion that brings families together. “This festive season is a time to celebrate love, unity, and to reflect on the eternal values of peace, hope, and selfless service that define the life and teachings of Jesus Christ,” Governor Ododo said in his Christmas message.

He encouraged the people to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ, commending them for living together in peace and for their unwavering spirit of resilience. The governor expressed optimism that the boundless love demonstrated by the people during Christmas will inspire his administration to work harder towards the state’s progress and development.

Meanwhile, Kogi State First Lady, Sefinat Usman Ododo, has also extended her warmest greetings to Christians and the people of Kogi State, describing the yuletide as a season of joy, peace, and love.

She expressed gratitude for the progress made in empowering women, girls, and vulnerable members of the community and expressed optimism that 2025 will bring better opportunities for Nigerians and growth for Kogi State
