The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hulayat Omidiran, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as a dedicated advocate for gender inclusion and social welfare.
In a goodwill statement issued in Abuja on Monday, 21 September, Mrs. Omidiran praised Senator Tinubu’s public service career and her focus on community development initiatives targeting women, children, and vulnerable groups across Nigeria.
Mrs. Omidiran highlighted the impact of the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative, noting its targeted interventions in basic education, primary healthcare, economic empowerment, and social assistance for underserved families.
“Every girl deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, develop her abilities, and become whatever she is capable of becoming,” Omidiran stated. “When we empower a woman, we strengthen a family; when we educate a girl, we invest in the future of a nation.”
