Kogi State Official Pledges Funds for University Project

Minna, Nigeria – A special adviser to the governor of Nigeria’s Kogi State has pledged two million naira (approximately £1,600) for a landmark project at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna), to be named after Governor Ahmed Ododo.

The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters, Oladele Nihi, made the announcement during a visit to the university where he addressed students and served as a guest speaker at the Engineering Stakeholders Forum. Mr Nihi said the donation was a show of support for educational initiatives and to honour Governor Ododo’s commitment to youth development.

Mr Nihi also held an interactive session with students from Kogi State, assuring them that their concerns would be conveyed to the governor. The donation has been well-received by the university community, with expectations that the project will contribute to the institution’s growth.
