Abuja, Nigeria – A Nigerian federal lawmaker, Ifeoluwa Ehindero, has extended his congratulations to Justice Babatunde Adejumo following his appointment as the Administrator of the National Judicial Institute (NJI).
The announcement was made in a statement signed by Blessing Akeju, Chief Press Secretary to Mr. Ehindero, who represents the Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency and chairs the House Committee on Students Loan, Scholarships and Higher Education Financing.

Hon. Ehindero described Justice Adejumo as a “distinguished jurist,” highlighting his “impressive legacy” as the former President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria. He expressed optimism that Justice Adejumo’s appointment would herald a new era of “growth and innovation” at the NJI.
“Justice Adejumo’s wealth of experience and proven administrative acumen will undoubtedly strengthen the core mission of the Institute in promoting judicial excellence and capacity development in Nigeria,” Mr. Ehindero stated.
The lawmaker reiterated his firm support for institutions that promote judicial integrity and efficiency, underscoring the importance of continuous education and training for judicial officers in upholding the rule of law and public trust within the justice system. He concluded by wishing Justice Adejumo success in his new role.
