Senator Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa were sworn in as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Edo State on Tuesday.
Chief Justice Daniel Okungbowa administered the oath of office to the duo at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
Both leaders pledged to uphold the constitution and work for the welfare of Edo State residents.
The event was marked by jubilation from supporters of the ruling party.
