Abuja, Nigeria — The Johnny Agim, SAN Foundation (JASAN Foundation) is set to host the second edition of its annual strategic think-tank, #TheLegacyDialogue 2.0, aiming to move beyond conversation to concrete policy and technological integration within Nigeria’s legal and judicial sectors. Following a successful launch in 2024, which focused on identity and mentorship, this year’s event marks a strategic escalation. The foundation is committed to driving legal and judicial reform by challenging existing structures and building robust support systems for lawyers and the judiciary.
A Deeper Commitment to Mentorship
The central theme for #TheLegacyDialogue 2.0 is: “Institutionalisation of Mentorship in the Legal Profession: A Strategic Blueprint for Professional Development.”This theme reflects a push by the JASAN Foundation to accelerate progress for law graduates, young lawyers, and the legal profession at large. The goal is to define policy and build institutions that ensure sustained professional development.

The event, scheduled for Friday, 24th October 2025, will feature several significant announcements and presentations designed to solidify the foundation’s strategic vision:
Launch of the #Legacy500 Elite Mentorship Programme: A new initiative aimed at structured professional guidance.
Expansion of Scholarship: The #Legacy500 Elite Sponsorship/Scholarship Programme will significantly expand its reach, increasing its beneficiaries from 11 to 30.
Strategic Blueprint Presentation: The foundation will present its MSRA Strategic Blueprint—a key document outlining its plan for legal mentorship and systemic reform.
High-Level Panel: A thought leadership discussion featuring prominent figures from the Bar, Bench, and Academia to chart a course for implementation.
The event will take place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria, starting at 10:00 AM (WAT).
