The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has unveiled an Anti-Corruption Policy Document aimed at reinforcing transparency, accountability, and ethical standards across its operational network.
The policy was launched on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, by the utility’s Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) at the TCN corporate headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking on behalf of TCN Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, the Executive Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services, Abiodun Afolabi-Fadahunsi, stated that the initiative underscores the company’s zero-tolerance stance on corrupt practices.
Abdulaziz stressed that TCN’s institutional credibility relies as much on operational achievements as on maintaining high ethical conduct, urging all staff members to integrate the policy into their daily decision-making processes.
Representative of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and ACTU Desk Officer, Monsurat Ajoke Ifeajika, presented an overview of the guidelines, noting that the document outlines clear mechanisms for preventing, detecting, and reporting financial and administrative misconduct.
