LOS ANGELES, USA – Actress Millie Bobby Brown has announced that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have adopted a baby daughter. The 21-year-old star of Stranger Things made the announcement on Instagram, stating, “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.” The couple did not reveal the name of their new child.
The news comes 15 months after the actress married Bongiovi, the 23-year-old son of rock singer Jon Bon Jovi. Brown, who was 20 at the time of her marriage, told the Call Her Daddy podcast that both she and Bongiovi had “great role models” who also married young.
The actress is known for her work with a dog rescue center, where she has reportedly fostered more than 230 dogs. Brown recently finished filming the final season of Stranger Things, the show that launched her career at age 12. She also recently completed a third Enola Holmes film and has starred in several other Netflix and Hollywood productions.
