ABUJA, NIGERIA – Nigeria’s Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, has urged the newly appointed management team of the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) to embrace teamwork in achieving its mandate. The call was made during a courtesy visit by the NCDC’s Board members, led by Chairman Cosmas Akighir, in Abuja.
Senator Akume emphasised the critical importance of collaborative effort for the commission’s success. “It is what you decided to do as a team that will shape the Commission. Work as a team and the result will be spectacular,” he stated. He conveyed President Bola Tinubu’s confidence in the board’s capacity to deliver quality service to the North-Central region and the nation.
Mr. Akighir thanked President Tinubu and the SGF for their trust and appealed for continued support to enable the nascent commission to fulfil its objectives. The NCDC is tasked with driving development across Nigeria’s North-Central states.
