Nigeria’s EFCC Arrests 30 Suspected Internet Fraudsters

Thirty suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested in Asaba, Delta State, by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The arrests, carried out by operatives of the EFCC’s Benin Zonal Directorate on Friday, followed “credible intelligence” regarding their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.

During the operation, five “exotic cars” and mobile phones were seized.

The EFCC stated that the suspects will be charged in court once investigations are complete.
