Nigeria’s Castle of Law has announced the appointment of Professor Omoniyi Bukola Akinola as its new Head of Chamber and Senior Partner. The appointment follows the recent elevation of the firm’s founder, Dr Olukayode Ajulo, to the position of Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State.
Professor Akinola, a renowned expert in Corporate Law Practice, brings over 20 years of experience in litigation to the firm. His impressive career spans tenures at prominent law firms in Nigeria, including F. U Ekavhiare & Associates and Oyewale Freeman & Co.
In addition to his professional experience, Professor Akinola has a distinguished academic record, having served as Deputy Director of Academics at the Nigerian Law School and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Redeemer’s University in Nigeria.
Professor Akinola will be supported in his new role by Ms Ifunanya Jemilla Okeke and Hamzat Nuhu Dantani, who have been appointed as Deputy Heads of Chambers for Civil and Criminal Litigation, respectively.
The appointment of Professor Akinola is expected to further strengthen Castle of Law’s reputation as a leading law firm in Nigeria, with expertise in areas such as Constitutional Law, Electoral Matters, and Corporate Law Practice.
