Nigeria’s Ondo State Governor, Aiyedatiwa, Receives Congratulations, Call to Action from FEDOSIA

The Federation of Ondo Indigenes in Abuja (FEDOSIA) has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the Ondo State Governorship election, describing his success as “a long walk to victory”. FEDOSIA’s Chairman, Dipo Akinsola, commended the maturity and sense of responsibility displayed by all candidates during the election.

Key Recommendations for Governor Aiyedatiwa:

  • Embracing Inclusivity: Shun discrimination against individuals within the state and across party lines
  • Economic Development: Prioritize people-cantered and economically driven projects to alleviate economic difficulties faced by Nigerians
  • Good Governance: Observe principles of good governance and advancement of the state, building on the legacy of his predecessor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu

Mr. Akinsola urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to regard his election as a divine blessing, leveraging obstacles encountered as strengths to fulfil electoral promises. He also encouraged aggrieved parties to pursue legal avenues for electoral grievances, promoting harmony and unity within the state.

FEDOSIA pledged unwavering support to Governor Aiyedatiwa, committing to contribute to the state’s socio-economic development. The organization expressed confidence in Mr. Aiyedatiwa’s capability to lead effectively, considering the current economic challenges and abundant resources in Ondo State.
