Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Orders End to Insecurity in Zamfara

President Bola Tinubu has directed Nigerian troops to eradicate insecurity in Zamfara State and the North-West region. The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Abubakar, conveyed this charge during his visit to Zamfara State, emphasizing the federal government’s commitment to the operation’s success.

The Minister commended troops for securing the notorious Tsafe Gusua road, acknowledging recent successes. He assured them of President Tinubu’s commitment to their welfare and equipment.

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, pledged to take the fight to bandits in their hideouts, with military support. “We will take the fight to them and finish them,” he said.
