Edo Election: Kogi Governor Backs APC Candidate, Senator Okpebholo

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, has endorsed the All-Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, ahead of the September 21 election.

Governor’s Pledge

At an APC youth rally in Igarra, Governor Ododo promised to utilize his connections and cultural ties with the Edo people to secure victory for the party and its candidate.

Campaign Rally

The Governor was received by Edo State’s Deputy Governor, Comrade Phillip Shaibu, and vowed to mobilize support among youth and women for the APC candidate.

Call for Peaceful Election

Governor Ododo urged the people of Akoko-Edo to reject violence and intimidation, instead defending their votes for the APC. He assured them that Senator Okpebholo would build on the successes of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s leadership.

Reward for Support

The Governor commended the peaceful conduct of the Akoko-Edo people during the campaign and promised that their support would be rewarded if the APC wins.

Final Push

Governor Ododo has arrived in Benin City for the grand finale of the APC governorship campaign rally on Saturday, where he will address the rally alongside other party leaders in a final push for victory.
