Mikel Oyarzabal scored twice as Spain eased into the knockout stages of the World Cup with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Austria at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The forward opened the scoring before Pedro Porro doubled Spain’s advantage with a well-timed header. Oyarzabal then added his second to cap off a dominant performance on Thursday.
The win ensures Spain’s place in the round of 16, where they will face either Portugal or Croatia, who play later on Thursday.
