The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has refuted viral social media reports claiming that young residents in the Nyanya area of Abuja are selling their kidneys to an illegal agent operating in neighboring Mararaba.
In an official statement released on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, the Command clarified that no such report has been received or confirmed by law enforcement officers, nor has any official confirmation been issued regarding an organ trafficking ring in the area.
