The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Najeem Salaam, has raised concerns over the non-recognition and exclusion of his party’s agents at several polling units across the state.
Speaking after casting his vote in Ejigbo, Salaam described the situation as “worrisome”, stating that the party had complied with requirements set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by uploading agent details onto the official portal.

He alleged that ADC agents in Ward 5, Ejigbo, and across nearly ten local government areas were denied identification tags, leaving them unable to formally monitor voting and ballot counting.
Despite the procedural complaint, Salaam noted that voting in Ejigbo had remained peaceful and called for a level playing field across all 30 local government areas.
