Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has alleged a plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to substitute authentic results from Saturday’s governorship election with fabricated figures.
Speaking shortly after casting his vote in Ede, Adeleke claimed the opposition party had prepared fake result sheets for several areas and was seeking to move local government collation centres to the state capital, Osogbo, to facilitate a swap.
The governor rejected any proposed shift in collation venues, insisting that result aggregation must take place strictly at designated local government headquarters across the state.
He urged voters and party supporters to remain at collation centres to safeguard their ballots as counting and collation proceed across all 30 local government areas.
