Nigeria’s Defence Minister Urges Army War College Graduates to Uphold National Security

Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Mohammed Abubakar, has called upon the graduating students of Army War College Course 8/2024 to prioritize national security, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

At the graduation ceremony in Abuja, Minister Abubakar praised the graduates for their dedication and perseverance during the 35-week rigorous training program. He emphasized the significance of their newly acquired skills in leadership and strategic thinking. “The world is constantly evolving, and challenges are increasingly complex,” Abubakar noted. “As operational-level planning officers, you’ll encounter uncertain situations. Embrace these challenges with confidence, aptitude, and determination.”

Mr. Abubakar congratulated the graduates, saying, “Your future is bright, and I have no doubt you’ll serve our nation with distinction”.

The ceremony marked the transformation of the graduates into operational and strategic leaders in Nigeria’s Armed Forces.
