Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Mohammed Abubakar, on Saturday cast his vote in the Jigawa State local government council elections. Accompanied by top All Progressives Congress (APC) officials, family members, supporters, and well-wishers, Mr. Abubakar voted at his Babura Kofar Arewa polling unit.”The electoral process has been peaceful and orderly,” Mr. Abubakar said. “I commend the Jigawa State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) for conducting a credible and transparent election.” The Minister urged stakeholders to maintain the peaceful atmosphere, ensuring the democratic process is respected.
