FG Reaffirms Focus on Security, Diaspora Development

The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to prioritizing national security and leveraging the Nigerian diaspora as a vital driver of economic growth.

Speaking at the Nigerian Diaspora Economic Conference in Toronto, Canada, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sola Enikanolaiye, stated that the administration views citizens abroad as critical national assets rather than a burden. In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Strategic Communications, Richard Elesho, the minister emphasized government plans to harness diaspora expertise and resources to align with national development priorities.

Addressing ongoing domestic security concerns, Ambassador Enikanolaiye affirmed that the government is deploying a multi-faceted approach to tackle security challenges across the country.
