NNPC Retail Limited, the retail subsidiary of Nigeria’s state oil company, has launched a week-long promotional discount offering motorists a price reduction of 66 naira per litre on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
The discount, introduced to commemorate Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, runs from 1 to 7 October 2026 across company-owned mega stations nationwide. To access the savings, consumers must process their transactions using the company’s dedicated digital fuel payment application.
Senior management and operational staff visited key mega stations on Thursday, 1 October, to launch the campaign and assist motorists with downloading and navigating the app.
Speaking at the launch, NNPC Retail’s Director of Operations, Baba Kukawa, stated that the initiative aims to combine the national milestone with direct customer engagement, while accelerating the adoption of digital transaction systems across its retail network.
