Kogi State’s First Lady, Sefinat Ododo, has congratulated the newly elected council chairmen, vice chairmen, and councillors who emerged victorious in Saturday’s local government polls. She described their win as the “will of God” and a testament to the current administration’s dedication to serving the people of Kogi State.
In her congratulatory message, Mrs. Ododo urged the elected officials to prioritize the welfare of the people at the local government level, ensuring they benefit from democracy’s dividends. She expressed her belief that their leadership would positively impact lives, particularly in rural areas, and accelerate development across the 21 local government areas.
The First Lady emphasized key areas of focus, including:
