The first lady of Akwa Ibom state, Patience Umo Eno, has died following an illness, the state’s information commissioner, Ini Ememobong, announced.
Mrs. Umo Eno passed away peacefully at a hospital on Thursday, surrounded by her family, according to the commissioner’s statement.
Governor Umo Eno expressed gratitude to those who supported the family during this period and assured citizens that his commitment to serving the state remains unwavering despite the personal loss.
