Kogi Governor’s Adviser Rewards Top Students at School Ceremony

KABBA, NIGERIA – A senior official in Kogi State, Oladele John Nihi, has awarded a cash gift of ₦100,000 (approximately $66 USD) to three top-performing students at a prize-giving ceremony in Kabba. The students were recognised for their academic excellence at the Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day of the Federal Government Girls’ College.

Mr. Nihi, who serves as the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Youth and Student Matters, attended the event as the Special Guest of Honour. During his address, he highlighted the achievements and future plans of Governor Ahmed Ododo’s administration in the education sector.

Speaking to an audience of students, parents, and staff, Mr. Nihi commended the students for their outstanding work and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

Mr. Nihi also pledged to take the requests made by the school’s management directly to the government for appropriate and prompt action.

The cash gift was presented to the three best graduating students on behalf of the Oladele John Nihi Foundation.
