LOKOJA, NIGERIA – The Governor of Kogi State, North Central Nigeria, Ahmed Ododo, has visited the newly established Youth Hub of the Oladele John Nihi Foundation (OJN Foundation), commending the initiative and pledging his administration’s full support for youth development in the state. The Youth Hub, conceived by Oladele Nihi, who also serves as the Governor’s Special Adviser on Youth & Student Matters, aims to provide a dedicated space for education, innovation, mentorship, and skills development for Kogi State’s young population.

During his tour on Monday, Governor Ododo expressed his strong approval of the project’s vision. He praised Mr. Nihi’s “proactive leadership and dedication to youth empowerment,” describing the facility as a “vital platform” essential for nurturing future leaders, job creators, and agents of change across the state.
“This Youth Hub is more than just a building; it is a symbol of our commitment to the future of Kogi State,” Governor Ododo stated. “We are proud of the initiative and I assure you of my administration’s unflinching support in ensuring that our youths are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.”

The Youth Hub is set to offer a range of programmes, including digital and vocational skills training, mentorship schemes, seminars, and access to educational resources. Its establishment aligns with the Governor’s broader vision for inclusive governance and sustainable development through strategic investment in human capital.
Oladele Nihi conveyed his profound gratitude to the Governor for his visit and encouraging words, reiterating that the Hub was founded on the desire to provide Kogi youths with “a fighting chance in today’s competitive world.”
“The Governor’s visit is a huge morale boost to us,” Nihi remarked. “It shows that he truly believes in the potential of young people and is willing to invest in our dreams.”
The visit is seen as a significant milestone for both the OJN Foundation and the youth community in Kogi State, marking a new era of youth inclusion, innovation, and progress in the region.
