A fuel tanker explosion on the Karu Bridge near Abuja has caused a large fire, destroying at least 30 vehicles.
The incident occurred on Wednesday along the Abuja-Nyanya-Keffi Road when a tanker carrying petrol reportedly lost control and crashed, igniting a significant blaze.
Eyewitnesses reported multiple explosions and thick smoke rising from the scene, prompting widespread panic.
Emergency services and security personnel responded quickly, closing the area to traffic and attempting to extinguish the fire.
