Nigeria’s Ruling Party Slams Opposition PDP Amid Allegations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed allegations by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that Senate President Godswill Akpabio is involved in a smear campaign against former Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel.

The APC spokesperson also criticized the PDP for its internal crisis, saying the party has “expired” and lost relevance in Nigerian politics. This sentiment was echoed by APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, who claimed that no aspirant has shown interest in contesting the upcoming Anambra governorship election under the PDP platform due to its prolonged internal crisis.

Morka concluded by urging the PDP to focus on resolving its internal issues rather than making unfounded allegations against the APC and its leaders.
