Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, has urged Muslims in the state to embody the values of patience, sacrifice, and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan. In his message to the people of the state, Governor Ododo described Ramadan as a sacred time for reflection, devotion, and self-discipline.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Ismaila Isah, the Governor encouraged citizens to love one another, embrace peace and promote mutual respect and understanding to enhance the state’s development, regardless of differences in faith.
Governor Ododo also called on the people to use the Ramadan fasting period as an opportunity to strengthen bonds and work together for the state’s progress and unity.
The Governor emphasized the importance of compassion, justice and harmony within communities, urging Muslims to dedicate the Ramadan period to fervent prayers for the peace, security and development of Kogi State and Nigeria.
