MultiChoice has announced it will increase prices for its DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria from 1 March 2025. The company cited rising operational costs, including currency depreciation and inflation, as the reason for the price adjustment.
This marks the second price review in just under a year. DStv Compact will rise from ₦15,700 to ₦19,000, Compact Plus from ₦30,000, and Premium from ₦44,500.
GOtv prices will also increase. GOtv Lite will go up from ₦3,600 to ₦3,900, GOtv Value from ₦4,850 to ₦5,800, GOtv Max from ₦6,200 to ₦8,500, GOtv Supa from ₦9,000 to ₦11,400 and GOtv Supa Plus from ₦15,000 to ₦16,800.
MultiChoice said the price increases are necessary to enable them to continue providing “world-class homegrown and international content” through the best technology.
