Petrol Tanker Explosion Kills Five in Delta State

A devastating petrol tanker explosion has rocked Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, South South Nigeria leaving at least five people dead and several properties destroyed. The tragedy occurred on Sunday afternoon along Old Asaba-Lagos Road.

Eyewitnesses report that the explosion was triggered when a petrol tanker overturned while navigating a turn near First Bank in Agbor. The resulting inferno destroyed property worth millions, including two banks.

A witness described the scene as chaotic and tragic, confirming that five people have been confirmed dead. The witness also expressed concern over the absence of emergency response teams, stating that firefighters had yet to arrive at the scene.

The incident has left a trail of destruction and injuries, with the full extent of the damage still being assessed.
