Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has pledged not to give up amid the club’s dismal form, which has seen them win just one of their past 13 Premier League games. Despite mounting pressure, Guardiola remains committed to turning around the champions’ fortunes.
“I will try, I will keep going,” he said. “I will not give up. I want to be here. I want to do it and, with the situation that we have, we have to do it.”
Guardiola attributed City’s poor form to injuries, which have sidelined several key players, including Rodri, Ruben Dias, and Ederson. However, he remains optimistic, citing the team’s spirit and focus in training.
“We saw that against Everton, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get the result we wanted,” he added. Manchester City travels to Leicester on Sunday, seeking to end their winless streak.
