Ondo State Cracks Down on Land Grabbers

The Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kayode Ajulo, has issued a stern warning to land grabbers in the state, emphasizing the government’s determination to eradicate this unlawful activity ยน.

According to Mr. Ajulo, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has launched a war against land grabbers through Executive Order 4-2024, which includes the establishment of a task force to tackle illegal occupation of properties and other land disputes.

Mr. Ajulo cautioned that those involved in illegal land acquisition or fraudulent sales will face severe legal consequences. He emphasized that only legally constituted authorities have the right to adjudicate land matters in the state.

The Ondo State government has declared zero tolerance for land grabbing, and Mr. Ajulo assured that the administration will not tolerate any infringement on property rights. Those who cross the law will face the full weight of justice.

This move is part of the state’s efforts to restore order and protect legitimate property owners. The government has urged affected individuals to come forward and rectify their situations within the stipulated period.
