Harvesters Church Pastor Denies Real Estate Fraud Allegations

The Senior Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Centre, Bolaji Idowu, has dismissed allegations linking him to fraudulent real estate activities and money laundering. Idowu described the claims as unfounded and misleading.

Reports had emerged alleging that Idowu was detained in Abuja by the Force Criminal Investigation Department over his purported involvement in real estate fraud. However, addressing his congregation during a morning prayer session, Idowu asserted that he neither owns nor deals in properties within Nigeria.

“I do not have any property in Nigeria. The only property I have in Nigeria is the one bequeathed to me,” he said. Idowu also refuted claims that billions of naira had been funnelled into his bank accounts, maintaining that his financial records are transparent and open to scrutiny.

The pastor expressed shock at the allegations, stating that he learned about them through the media. Idowu’s denial comes amidst reports that he regained his freedom after interventions by prominent Christian leaders.
