The Chairman and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Adegoke Fadare on his election as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Nova Scotia, Canada, representing the Clayton Park West constituency.
Dabiri-Erewa described Fadare’s victory as a win for all Nigerians in the diaspora and Africans at large. She praised Fadare for displaying true sportsmanship during the electoral exercise and noted that his election success highlighted the faith of his constituency in his competence.
Fadare, a Nigerian cybersecurity expert, project manager, and politician based in Canada, won the Nova Scotia House of Assembly seat under the Progressive Conservative Association in the 2024 General Election in November ยน.
Dabiri-Erewa advised Fadare to use his expertise to improve the socio-economic level of his constituency and not to disappoint the trust placed on him by his supporters. She wished the newly elected member a successful tenure.
