Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, has expressed his condolences to the families of victims who lost their lives in a recent boat accident on the River Niger. The incident, which occurred along the Dambo-Ebuchi sections, claimed the lives of several passengers, mostly women, petty traders, and artisans from Kogi State.
Governor Ododo in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media Ismaila Isah described the accident as “sad and unfortunate,” emphasizing his concern for the victims, who were engaged in legitimate business activities to support themselves and contribute to the state’s economy.
