Nigeria’s Defence Minister, Mohammed Abubakar, has called for robust support for the Nigerian Military in its efforts to combat insecurity. Speaking at the 45th International Trade Fair in Kano, Minister Abubakar emphasized that peace is essential for national development and economic prosperity.
A statement signed by Henshaw Ogubike, Director of Information and Public Relations quotes the Minister as reaffirming President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to restoring peace and stability, urging Nigerians to support the government with prayers and maintain confidence in the security forces.
The trade fair, organized by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, attracted dignitaries from Nigeria and abroad. Minister Abubakar commended the organizers and reiterated the importance of non-oil exports in achieving Nigeria’s diversification goals. He called on stakeholders to collaborate in harnessing Nigeria’s vast export potential.
