Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has ordered ministers, ministers of state, and agency heads to limit their official convoys to three vehicles. No additional vehicles will be assigned.
In a statement, the President outlined cost-cutting measures aimed at reducing government expenditure. This follows January’s directive reducing presidential entourages on foreign trips from 50 to 20 officials and local trips to 25.
Key Directives:
- Maximum three vehicles per convoy
- Five security personnel: four police, one DSS
- National Security Adviser to review military and paramilitary deployments
Affected officials must comply immediately.
