Nigeria Police Chief Cracks Down on Corruption and Brutality

Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has launched a sweeping crackdown on corruption and misconduct within the force, warning officers that exploitation and brutality will no longer be tolerated.

In a stern address to senior officers, IGP Egbetokun condemned recent allegations of extortion and high-handedness, vowing to restore public trust in the police.
