  • Prospective voters have been assured of adequate security during the exercise.

Call to Citizens

Mr. Fanwo urged citizens to participate in the local government elections, expressing confidence in the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) to conduct a free, fair, and credible poll. He emphasized the importance of peaceful conduct and exercising franchise through the ballot.

Government Commitment

The state government pledged to maintain law and order within legal bounds, prioritizing growth and development. This move comes ahead of the October 19 local government council elections, with Governor Ahmed Ododo urging APC candidates and stakeholders to work towards an overwhelming party victory.
