President Bola Tinubu and business mogul Aliko Dangote are set to headline the 2024 Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit, scheduled for November 5-7 in Abuja.
The event, organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), is expected to attract over 2,000 participants from around the world.
NIDCOM Chairman Abike Dabiri-Erewa announced the prestigious guest lineup on Thursday, emphasizing the summit’s importance in promoting diaspora investments for Nigeria’s economic growth. President Tinubu, as the special guest of honour, will highlight the key role of the diaspora in his administration’s development agenda. Meanwhile, Aliko Dangote, a renowned entrepreneur, will deliver the keynote address, sharing his insights on navigating the Nigerian business landscape.
The three-day summit will focus on a wide range of sectors, including finance, ICT, fintech, creative industries, sports and entertainment, agribusiness, healthcare, education, real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, and mining. It aims to facilitate discussions, networking, and practical strategies for harnessing the potential of the Nigerian diaspora.
Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa expressed confidence in the summit’s ability to attract significant investments, building on the success of previous editions. “We are optimistic that this year’s event will yield even greater results,” she stated.
