Nigerian Rapper Falz Denies Collusion with Bobrisky

Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has denied allegations of conspiring with social media personality, Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky), to pervert the course of justice.

Falz’s legal team, Falana & Falana Chambers, has issued a letter to social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan), demanding the retraction of defamatory statements made against Falz.

Bobrisky’s Alleged Bribery Scandal

The controversy surrounds Bobrisky’s claims that EFCC officers collected N15m from him to drop money laundering charges. Bobrisky has denied the allegations, while the EFCC Chairman has ordered an investigation.

Falz’s Account of Events

According to Falz’s lawyer, Taiwo E. Olawanle, Bobrisky initiated contact with Falz seeking advice on his legal troubles. Falz reportedly refused Bobrisky’s request for N3m to secure a VIP section at the Correctional Centre.

Defamation Allegations

Falz’s legal team alleges that VeryDarkMan’s social media post suggested Falz conspired with Bobrisky, damaging his reputation. They demand a retraction and public apology within 24 hours or face legal action.
