Edo Governorship Election: Over 2.2 Million Voters Collect PVCs

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released data on the collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) in Edo State, ahead of this weekend’s governorship election.

According to INEC, 2,249,780 voters (85.57% of registered voters) have collected their PVCs, while 379,245 (14.43%) remain uncollected.

The commission has made available a detailed breakdown of PVC collection by polling unit, with data for all 4,519 units in the state.”The data is available on our website for guidance of political parties, candidates, and the public,” said Sam Olumekun, National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee.

The move aims to ensure transparency and accountability in the electoral process.

PVCs collected: 2,249,780 (85.57%)
