Israeli jets attack home of Palestinian leader

Israel has said its jets attacked the Gaza house of Ismail Haniyeh, widely considered as the overall Hamas leader.
Haniyeh lives in Qatar – Israel says the house was being used as a Hamas meeting place.
Elsewhere, Palestinian media say around 50 people were killed by an air strike in the central Gaza Strip
Israel has dropped leaflets in the south of Gaza, warning people in four towns to find safety.
On Wednesday night, Israel continued its operation at the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, which it says was being used as Hamas base.
And on Thursday morning, Palestinian Islamic Jihad said it was still fighting Israeli forces near the site
Israel began striking Gaza after Hamas’s 7 October attacks, in which 1,200 people were killed and the hostages were taken.
The Hamas-run health ministry says more than 11,500 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
