Israel hits hundreds of Gaza sites as it warns campaign may last months

Israel has said it hit 320 more targets in the Gaza Strip, while Palestinian authorities say homes were hit “without warning”.
Israel’s defence minister says the campaign could take “one month, two months, three months… at the end there will be no more Hamas”.
He also hints at a ground attack – but says before Hamas “meets our tanks and our infantry, they will know the shells from our air force”.
The Israeli military says a soldier was killed inside the Gaza Strip while carrying out a raid.
In Gaza, another 14 aid trucks arrived on Sunday – but the UN warns that “more, much more” is needed
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees says the situation in southern Gaza is so bad, people are returning north – despite Israeli military warnings.
