Nigeria election tribunal dismisses drug, certificate allegations against Tinubu

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Nigeria has dismissed allegations of drugs and certificate against prominent politician and current President, Bola Tinubu as non-issues.

The Tribunal on Wednesday in Nigeria’s Capital Abuja deemed that “the Issue of nmination is a pre-election matter”.

The tribunal also noted that Tinubu’s Chicago records and forfeiture of money were pre-election issues and that the tribunal would only consider compliance/non-compliance with the Electoral Act.

Former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, also had his nomination case dismissed.
