Two Nigerian groups have called for a national security summit to address the country’s rising insecurity.
At a news conference on Friday, the leaders of both groups said the summit is necessary because Nigeria is facing a “serious security challenge” that is threatening the country’s unity and development.
The groups said the summit would provide an opportunity for critical stakeholders to share ideas and solutions to the country’s security problems.
