The Coalition of West African Investigative Journalists’ allegations of corruption against the chief executives of Nigerian parastatal organisations have been robustly dismissed. Friday Nkoli, National President of the Nigerian Youth and Students Coalition for Good Governance, voiced strong objection to these allegations in a press conference on Monday.

Earlier, the journalists’ coalition had urged for the dismissal of the CEOs of these state agencies, alleging corruption. However, Mr. Nkoli, representing the Nigerian youth and students in the governance domain, refuted these claims during a press briefing in Abuja.
He underscored the absence of concrete evidence and questioned the credibility of the allegations, urging President Bola Tinubu to disregard what he termed as “fabricated and politically motivated news” aimed at government officials.
