President Bola Tinubu urges greater security collaboration in Nigeria.

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has called for increased collaboration among the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, Service Chiefs, and the Inspector-General of Police to tackle the issue of insecurity in Nigeria. During a meeting in Abuja on Monday, President Tinubu expressed his full support for the security officials and emphasized the importance of working together to address the challenges at hand.

This directive from President Tinubu echoes a similar instruction he had given to the previous set of Service Chiefs on June 1, where he emphasized the need for coordination and unity of purpose in tackling insecurity.

The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu who briefed state house correspondents after the meeting, expressed gratitude to the President for the opportunity to serve in his administration and assured him of their commitment to working tirelessly to restore peace and security to Nigerians.

This meeting marks Tinubu’s first face-to-face engagement with the newly appointed security heads since their assumption of office on June 19.
