Nigeria’s government in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration, has evacuated another batch of 112 stranded Nigerians from Libya’s capital, Tripoli.
Charge d’Affaires En Titre of the Nigerian Mission to Libya, Ambassador Kabiru Musa, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
Ambassador Musa said that the continuous voluntary evacuation exercise was part of the Federal Government’s efforts to ensure that none of its citizens were left stranded abroad.
He said that the evacuees were expected to arrive at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Tuesday evening.
